Some days

are worse than others.

Despair comes suddenly;

the world is just too much to bare.

This day.

    It’s heavy to bear the weight of the current state of our world. I hope we can keep lifting each other up and try harder to care for others. I love the hope in picture of the sky – not all clouds bring storms.

      I agree that the only way we will get through this is by lifting each other up. Stay strong!

    It is just too much. I love your poem. I almost wrote a poem but my head was spinning too much, so I ended up with a big rambling post that took forever to write and I’m still not quite happy with it! I love the line “despair comes suddenly” because it seems like despair should be a gradual thing, as it’s often the result of a buildup of bad things over time, and yet, it does come so suddenly. ❤

      But maybe despair does build up, but we’re not able to see it coming until it’s too late? And, it’s only in hindsight that we recognize it for what it is. Thanks for commenting!

    “Despair comes suddenly.” Isn’t that the truth? This poem resonates deeply for me. Thank you for sharing it.
