It is just too much. I love your poem. I almost wrote a poem but my head was spinning too much, so I ended up with a big rambling post that took forever to write and I’m still not quite happy with it! I love the line “despair comes suddenly” because it seems like despair should be a gradual thing, as it’s often the result of a buildup of bad things over time, and yet, it does come so suddenly. ❤

But maybe despair does build up, but we’re not able to see it coming until it’s too late? And, it’s only in hindsight that we recognize it for what it is. Thanks for commenting!
